Scott, is the founder and president of TrainSignal.com, an e-commerce site that creates computer training products for IT professionals.

They have training on everything from Outlook, to DNS Server training, to learning about Exchange Server.

Scott used to be a technical instructor teaching Microsoft and Cisco courses. He said that he started Train Signal because he wasn’t satisfied with the curriculum and methodology that the schools were using. Students were learning all theory, and had a hard time finding a job because they didn’t have any experience or “real world” know how to back up their education.

He has focused his training courses on being hands-on and focused on developing on computer skills that IT professionals need to manage computer networks in corporate environments.

Scott is a big Chicago White Sox fan and loves going to baseball games

He is married with 3 kids.

Scott is a mad outdoorsman. He loves hiking and rock climbing. Last time I saw him in San Francisco, he was on his way to go solo in Joshua Tree to go rock climbing and hiking, alone.

Scott often takes off to Colorado and loves to hike and climb the 14,000 ft. mountains. He has a mountainous blog that he occasionally updates with his adventures.

Scott currently lives near Chicago, but is planning on heading to the mountains soon to live. Scott’s quote is, “Currently live in the Chicago area but am looking to relocate in the near future. Looking for mountains and beautiful weather.
