Update 9/4/08 – It has been a cool summer in San Diego right up until this past week. It is as if all the warm sunny days were saved for September. The water has warmed up into the 70’s. It is three weeks till the event, so I can’t tell you the weather for sure, but I think it will be very pleasant, and warm enough for the adventurous to jump into the Pacific!

Over the past months I have spent more time in Del Mar than I ever have before, going to set things up. The environment where the event will be is just perfect. I think someone could try really hard to have a bad time there, but it would take a lot of work!
