Shannon Poole
Shannon is in charge of marketing for the new SEM Journal.
Born and raised in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, graduate of Montana State University with degrees in Apparel Design & Business Mktg
She then moved to Washington DC in pursuit of a career in the ‘real world where she entered the Marketing field with a small start-up company in the telephony industry. She did Marketing, Art Direction position, PR and Event Planning with Qwest.
There she lead of team of designers to re-brand Qwest phone cards and retail merchandising for national & international products.
6 years later, back to Montana, as a Director of Marketing. She received the MT-Addy Award for her multi-media campaign!
Sean was smart enough to bring her aboard as Marketing Director of The Search Engine Marketing journal just before SES San Jose; where the Journal took off!
Her passions are fashion, fishing, cooking, culture & golf. Her quote of growing up, “my father had a fishing pole in my grip at the age of 5 while my mother made sure I had a frying pan in the other, while my older brother chased the boys away with his rifle”
