The first time I met Brent I assumed he was an old hat in the internet world. It was Pubcon Las Vegas 2006 and I was determined to meet someone. I decided to strike up a conversation with a guy on the elevator, it was him. He looked a bit different from the rest of the group there, someone I felt a little more connected to. A little edgier, a little hipper, plus his head was shaved. We literally only spoke for 60 seconds or so, but he left an impression. He mentioned Weird Asia News, so when I got home I googled it and have been a fan ever since.

Where a lot of the info being put on the internet is total crap, the stuff Brent does is stuff worth reading. Here is an example of a beutiful story about true love over a lifetime that I never would have come across anywhere else.

I’ve gotten to spend some quality time with Brent and he is definitely out of the box. He has organized and run large events, been a professional skateboarder, and has personally changed the internet.

If Brent decides something should be known by millions of people, then Brent can make that thing known by millions of people.
