Andy Liu
While the rest of the Internet world was sitting in their underwear trying to create another million dollar home page Andy Liu was getting his MBA from Wharton School of Business after getting his bachelors in computer science. For those who are as ignorant as me, Wharton is consistently scored as one of the best if not the best business school in the world, usually beating Harvard School of Business.

Andy moves comfortably from China, his parents native country, to rural central America where he just spent a week helping with some of his friends where they have been coaching an entire rural town into the tech world to improve their economy and survival.
When Andy was in Peru at Machu Picchu at over 10,000 feet in the ancient Inca ruins he had an idea. He decided to take on the biggest names in the media and create the worlds most viewed website about T.V. shows. This means he is going up against companies like Disney, Time-Warner, NBC, CBS, Fox and the others. Guess what? He won! Over the next few years Andy got over 9 million dollars in Venture Capital money and created buddytv.
While the history of the Internet is filled with people who wasted millions of dollars in venture capital money, Andy has carefully managed the money he has received and has leveraged each dollar to build the site BuddyTV.com into the largest television site on the Internet, with over 4 million unique visitors per month.

When you stop and think how television and the Internet are rapidly merging together, and the fact that one day very soon, in my opinion, the majority of television and movie content will be delivered through the Internet, this positions Andy and his crew into a position of very great power.

As a guy Andy is very accessible. He devotes a significant part of his life to helping those less fortunate have a chance at success. When he sees a good guy who is trying, with a decent idea, you can see he really enjoys helping someone else have their chance at super success.
