Aaron Wall

I have been an Aaron Wall fan for years. Simply because his name came up so much around the web when I was learning SEO, before I even knew what the letters stood for.

I finally got to meet Aaron at the Elite Retreat for the first time.’

Don’t ever underestimate Aaron. When he began to speak my jaw dropped and bounced off the floor. To this day, I still have not fully digested the notes I took during the hours he spoke. If in any way I thought I was any kind of an expert at SEO at that time, Aaron knocked the wind right out of me. It was amazing. He flowed through the concepts of SEO, and how they reached out into site design, social engineering, monetization, and how he does it at high speed, 8 arms typing in all directions. I was mesmerized. At that moment I realized I was watching a master who is so far ahead of his time it will take the masses decades to be able to understand what he is doing now. It made what I had been reading in blogs and forums seem like children’s books.

When I saw he was coming to the ThinkTank, I literally let out an audible whooop! got up and danced.

Aaron has a great self seo biography on his site SEOBook. It tells how he learned business trading sports cards, and how he was a bit of an outcast at school, was a math whiz, and was lousy at spelling, as I am!

Aaron had a brief stint in the Navy, where he learned he did not fit that mold, hmm..surprise!

In 2004 Aaron was making around $300 per month off the web, a huge increase from the $100 a month the year before.

Aaron said in the past he “intentionally overinvest in learning because if things go bad, (and they could soon with how corrupt and debt ridden the US is) all you really have are your friends and your knowledge” I can’t agree with that more!

Aaron has been sued for his work, made a ton of money, given a ton of money away, and expresses himself and opens his heart up on his sites for the world to see him as he is.

Well, now Aaron is the cool kid on the block that we all want the chance to get to know better!

He is also recently married to Giovanna, who will also be attending the ThinkTank!
