thinktank 2008 video

2008 was the first year of thinktank.
If you were there, you were part of a special group that will remember what happened for the rest of your life.
If you were not one of the lucky few, then here are a few glimpses of what happened.
It was fistastic!
More about thinktank here.

Thinktank seems like a great experience. I really like how only successful people are there so they can teach each other their methods because they actually know what they are doing.
ReplyDK, you sold me on coming back. Where’s my invite?
ReplyVery interesting, I agree with Syntheticelegance networking in this manner can prove to be very rewarding indeed
ReplyI understand this is supposed to be an event where people share their experiences on how to better their life … but how can that be accomplished when all I can see is a bunch of people drinking, cutting up, playing at the beach and shadow boxing and watching scantily clad girls. How the heck is this supposed to grab someone’s professional interest? Perhaps their juvenile interests?
Reply@Syntheticelegance:
ReplyHow the heck could you tell they were successful from this video, or even if you were there? Let me guess … it was all the partying and fun! Wow! That does sound successful! Give me a break! It’s just another reason to party and someone is surely making a great deal off it … just not the partiers!
@LilithQ:
ReplyIf you like doing business with people who don’t act professional!
this sure looks interesting. work an fun seem to be the idea here. May the think tankers mean to tell us we will have so much fun if we really think and work
Replycheers!
Margie, either get a friggin’ job or go bother bother the people who agreed to put up with your crap on facebook. This conference looked like an awesome time. I think we’ve all seen where traditional business mindset and practices are going to take this country. It’s time a generation without its head up its ass takes a stab at it.
Replylook like a very difference experience. ive been done any type of (boxing, karate or self defense class. i should look into somethign like this.
ReplyThat is a great video. I think they should all look like this
ReplyI think it looks like a nice outing and a chance for a group of like minded buisness people to get to talk buisness in a relaxed atmosphere. I don’t think it should replace a traditional conference, but it does look like fun.
Replyseems really exciting, It really makes success seem very desirable, so as an advert this video its great
ReplyThis is certainly a unique way to hold a business conference.
ReplyI have actually attended something like this before and the results were pretty good.
This looks like a fun time. A bunch of guys get together and box, eat, and drink beer while conducting business — what’s not to like?
ReplyI wish my office had conferences held such as this. Looks like a great time for all involved!
Replywow! That seem fun. and also pretty amazing!
ReplyGreat video! It seems that all successful people look great as well.
Replygreat video! it seems that all successful people look good as well!
Replyi like this I like the wealthy appearance of the whole set make me interested.
Replyi really like it..
ReplyI was there, and even though I’m probably closer in age to the “generation with their heads up their ass” it was well worth the trip.
Everyone there was an accomplished speaker, internet marketer, successful entrepreneur, or more often, “all of the above”.
I got to hang out with people I’d wanted to meet before, and others that I’d only met briefly at conferences, and others I’d never heard of because they’re “in the trenches” grinding out work instead of speaking or blogging so publicly.
The attitude of success was infectious, and attending the event changed my career path forever…
As far as “how can you tell they were successful” from the video? I guess you can’t, unless you know who the the people were, but as to why anyone would want to hang out in a casual setting with a bunch of smart internet millionaires. partying and networking for three days? Gee, I don’t know Margie, you’re right, and you definitely shouldn’t come.
ReplyI have heard and read a lot about think tanks, and I think they are a wonderful idea. When I go to traditional conferences I do not have the opportunity to freely ask questions. I look forward to being able to go to think tanks in the future.
ReplyThat’s a lifestyle so many desire…just hang around, chill and make money. Long gone are Suites. Internet changed everything.
Replyyour speak spanish, I dons“t speak english
ReplyWow really cool. Where do I sign up at???
ReplyThink positively, work happily, you are a rich man. Thinktank gives you ideas and methods to help you live like them. A good and happy life.
ReplyI think the idea is awesome; to bring so many professionals together to toss ideas back and forth while enjoying themselves is something I think a lot of businesses would benefit from. I REALLY like the fact that there are so many professional men gathered in one place, as well.
ReplyGetting people together, having fun, bonding. How could you go wrong. The more you trust your team the better you work. Looks like an experience I want to have!
ReplyI would like to attend an event like this and see what other people do that makes them so successful. It seems like a lot of fun!
ReplyThis looks like an interesting experience. I definitely agree; you can watch experts on tv or the internet. But you can’t actually talk to them, have a conversation with them. That’s the important part.
ReplyHaving attended Think Tank 2009, I can tell you that it is well worth the entry fee. Seriously, consider it an investment in your career. If you don’t make your entry fee back within the following year, that’s on you. You can truly forge some strong relationships at Think Tank, both business and personal. Already signed up for Think Tank 2010 and stoked to be able to attend. Let there be surf! W00t!
ReplyAny event is better at the beach. Having been at many conferences, I think I’d have an open mind about this type of event instead. Usually know what the speaker is going to say anyway.
ReplyWhat’s the business with the invites? How does one go about getting one?
ReplyWhat an ingenius idea to talk business in a casual setting!
Only makes for better business I would think. I only hope that the fish this year will still be good, considering the gulf spill. Also, this is a good way for businesses to really help each other! I hope to attend in a couple of years!
ReplyThis really seemed like a great experience, something that will remain in the memories of all those who witnessed it forever.
ReplyLol, the days of going to a live conference and listening to a speaker speak is totally old-school. I like the music in the background, catchy.
ReplyThis looks fun
I would like to join XD
ReplyNina, can i go with you!
ReplySo… apparently these “conferences” are for a lot of over grown frat boys? The only time their were shots of females at all, they were clearly just eye-candy bimbos. I take it that this program is advertised for the DUDES! Well, that’s fine, but it probably isn’t very good business to eliminate half of the population so that you can come across “cool” or “tough” or “surfery.” Hahhahaha… Whatever.
ReplyIt’s always nice to see such successful people having a blast in a non-business environment, while still being able to network in a business like way. I love the part when they are doing the mixed martial arts. True warriors.
ReplyDK,
This sounds awesome. I’m guessing the networking thing that your working on right now leads to Think Tank 2010 somehow?
I’d love to come and help out in anyway I can.
