Wrapping up the ThinkTank Sign Ups – Fun About to Begin!
The Signups for the PurposeInc Think Tank are about to wrap up.
A final round of invites will be going out in a few days to a select few that I would really like to come.
We expect to be sold out by the end of next week.
I have been truly honored by the positive press, and the amazing talent coming to the first ThinkTank.
What makes it even more amazing is the fact that other than Shoemoney announcing about the Mixed Martial Arts training, no one really knows what we are going to be doing except me and my staff.
The trust you guys have given to me to travel long distances, some of you literally half way around the world, for an event with no speakers, and no published itinerary is truly breathtaking for me.
I pulled together some of the blogs written about the event. If you know of other ones, feel free to shoot em to me and i will list them here.
Shoemoney announces the MMA training:
John Andrews gives a gushing support of the event:
Pamela Lund gives the underlying reason why this event rocks :
Neil Patel lays out 5 reasons to come:
Rhea Drysdale trys to figure out if it is a vacation or a conference:
David Temple announces my hidden identity and the event:
A post of who’s coming and their twitter names
Scott Skinger, started a new blog and made us the opening post!
Shoemoney Announces a Huge Contest Win a Trip and Entry to Purposeinc ThinkTank
Wow Think Tank Rolling toward us in 4 weeks!
I have been busier than usual, which is pretty dam busy.
The ThinkTank is shaping up into something pretty special.
We have been working full bore to pull all the little strings in together to make the event as fun and amazing as I have visualized it could be.
In answers to the questions that have been coming in.
Not sold out yet, but getting very close. A very few entries left.
Friday looks like it will be a very fun day, with many of the ThinkTankers allready there from Thursday, and the rest rolling in on Friday throughout the day.
There has been a warm current coming up close to San Diego the past few weeks, so we are having almost tropical weather with a few warm rains. Very unusual. There have also been southern tropical fish moving north toward San Diego that we don’t usually see, which has made for some amazing local fish. This may end up having a positive effect on ThinkTank dinners!
Also, yes the poker tournament is definitely on this year the Thursday of Pubcon.
Horse Race season will be ending three weeks before the ThinkTank. Next year we may have the event, and have it earlier in the summer so we can have a race track day.
Nope, there will be no speakers. It is funny how many people have trouble understanding this concept. Almost every one coming has been a speaker, and honestly I think we would all enjoy asking each other questions, and sitting knee to knee sharing war stories and secrets rather than listen to someone speak from stage.
There is already discussion of the next ThinkTank which may have evolved into another name by then in the Spring time. I will ask the attendees (assuming we all have a great time) when they would want to get together again.
I was talking to Mandy, one of our new staff, who will be helping organize and run the event this evening. As I was writing one of the bios I started realizing just how much I personally can learn from the attendees myself. I begged Mandy, to get the whole thing organized enough so that I can attend the event, and not just be running around making sure it is all going o.k.
I am personally in awe at who is coming, and the sheer depth of experience and success that they yield. Guys, you have humbled me by your signing up and coming!
There is a new sponsor SEOIntelligence which is an SEO and SEM tool that I have been playing with lately. (By the way, this is not a paid link, I am doing this by my own volition and love of the tool
) It is really cool. Jeremy Hermans, another ThinkTanker promised to take me on a tour of the full horsepower of this thing. So far I have been having lots of fun with it, and am getting much more data out of it than my old stats tracking software.
There are a couple more sponsors I am in discussion with.
Real soon we will be sold out, and also am about to put a cap on new sponsors.
All of the sponsors understand that they are there for the benefit of the attendees, and just like you guys asked for there will be no sales pitches of any kind. The sponsors are simply kicking in some dough so we can have better food, more drinks, and some world class events!
There is also an added perk that I will be announcing in the next couple of weeks that will be available for the first 10 of the attendees that sign up for it. This will be something that can be taken advantage of on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after the ThinkTank if you are still in town.
This will definitely be a new experiment in the Internet business industry. I am going to try to blow your socks off with a super fun and successful event. If I F something up, please let me know right away, so I can try to fix it, and please forgive me for the errors that we will commit, being that this is the first time.
It also looks like the whole thing will end up losing a bit of my money. Every time a good idea gets presented I say YES! and another few thousand dollars gets spent.
It’s really hard to say no when it means that shrimp and fish lovers will get the good fresh stuff right off the boat and not the frozen stuff. That is totally fine with me, because the true value for me and all of us will be the time we spend together, the freinds made and freindships deepened, the things we will learn, and the memories we will take with us!
Watch your e-mail for the final round of invites, with another survey coming soon.
Much Love,
dk
The Internet Marketers Charity Party

This post is about a charity party, go here if you are looking for ThinkTank info.
When I first went to Pubcon I felt very left out. Here I was in Vegas with 2000 other Internet geeks who were into SEO, 301′s, linkbuilding and all that jazz, and yet when the sessions were over I had met like 3 people, and no body wanted to have dinner with me.
That is why I started the poker tournament.
Now Todd Malicoat, stuntdbl, has put together a place where the cool and the noobs can rub shoulders. If you are a noob, and want to meet any of the elite, just come over to me at this charity event and I will force them to meet you.
This will take place next door to SES on Monday night at 8:00. Anyone can get in if you pay the $40 in advance.
The cost is $40 to get in, and the money goes to charity. Seriously, what in this world can you get for $40 that has any value any more?
From my experience to be honest, you will meet a lot more people, get a lot more insider info, and leverage your trip a heck of a lot more by going to this party, than you probably will by listening to any of these guys on stage.
After all, are they more likely to loosen up and give you their secrets while half passed out while draped over a chair at midnight or on stage wearing a tie while like 746 people are watching them including possible future and past bosses and clients?
Neil Patel, and myself are planning to challenge Shoemoney and Dave Dellanave to a breakdancing contest, winner take all! Just don’t ask me to get down on the floor as I might not be able to get back up!
Register for the party here,
