Name the SEO Contest
Note 1/7/08 All the people I could find in the pics are up! Keep the names coming.
Note 12-8-07 - The pics are taking a while to process. As soon as I am done, I will award t-shirts in the order people listed SEO’s until I run out
I will give directions on paypalling the shipping fees at that time. Please keep naming em!
Here is the game. Comment below with the photo number, and the persons name.
Be the first one to name an SEO (or other Internet person) shown below correctly, and you win a t-shirt provided I still have your size (while supplies last!) You will just need to paypal $10 for shipping and packaging. Limit one t-shirt per person.
This page will alternate with the Search Spam Werewolf page for a while every few days.
Thanks again to SEOish, the BOTW crew, and PlanetC1 for paying for the shirts as our first ever SEO Poker tournamament at Pubcon sponsors.
Here they are in no particular order! (The photo number is below the photo.)
First is the bonus photo worth two T-shirts. This is the only photo I could find of this guy. And with player 90 posted, I think they are all up!

ReplyNice photos. But the quality of pics is bad.
ReplySome are too blurred.
Yep SEO Guru, some of the pictures are blurry.
“the quality of pics is bad” would qualify as a generalization.
The ones that were not crystal clear was due to a combination of two things. The first photographer and myself took around 400 pictures. Some of the players ended up in only one or two of the photos.
We got permission from the Nevada Gaming Commission a very short time before the tournament to shoot the photos. I was unable to secure the correct equipment before the tournament began.
I had to choose between showing the blurry photos of some people, or not showing them at all. I am still working my way through all of the photos. There may even be some players who were not shot at all.

ReplyCool Aaron,
now I know who you are.
I recommend to anyone interested in conferences to read an interesting article guest posted on Aaron’s site by Mary Bowling at:
http://www.aarondalrymple.com/2008/01/02/the-perfect-internet-marketing-conference/
I would love to hear more of what everyone wants from events and conferences. I am going to be sending out a survey on this subject in the upcoming month or two, but in the meantime comment away here about what you would like to see in search conferences in the future, or even any totally random ideas for other events in the future.

ReplyThe all-too-serious guy in #52 is yours truly.
#5 is Joseph Mullinax.
Looking forward to next year!
ReplyBill Grunnah,
I still feel bad about the Werewolf tournament. The syndicate had gotten pretty blood thirsty by the time you sat down, and then it got really ugly really quick.
It was great to have you at the poker tournament!
dk
ReplyPlayer #35 is John Andrews from http://www.johnon.com
I didn’t play but watched and it was fun!
ReplyI figuered the ones that were really blurred were because the players were in the wittness protection program, lived secret double lives, or are assasins. Now you say that you just took bad pics. That is not nearly as exciting.
ReplyPlayer 37 is Tim Dineen, no?
ReplyI am jealous, that looks like a ton of fun.
